DEFIB | A Heart-Warming Donation

WANA are pleased to announce that a community defibrillator has been generously donated to WANA and is installed on Hunt Lane close to its junction with Kennel Lane. WANA has registered this life-saving equipment on the national defibrillator network and connected it to the East Midlands Ambulance Service.

With this new addition, Witherley has two community defibrillators that can be used to save the life of someone in cardiac arrest. The second defib is located at the Blue Lion found in the archway leading from the car park. In case of an emergency, first call 999, the instructions to unlock the nearest device will be issued by the emergency services.

Finally, we WANA encourage you to watch this informative video produced by British Heart Foundation and learn more about how to use a defibrillator.
