Community Apple Press - Cider Making

Join WANA in a partnership with the social enterprise PRESSED FOR GOOD at our first ever community pressing event at Witherley Parish Room on Saturday 5th September where we will be making cider which will be sold in aid of the Parish Room and St Peter's Church. We welcome volunteers to bring along any donations of fruit - particularly apples, pears and soft fruit like blackberries, raspberries and plums - and help juice it ready for fermenting. If you don't have any fruit we'd still welcome any hands to help with the washing, cutting, crushing and juicing. Children over 10 are welcome to join in as long as an adult accompanies them and supervises at all times.
