There are two age groups for entrants:

• 16 and under*

• 17 and over

​*If you are age 16 or under, you must have permission to enter from your parent/guardian and your parent/guardian will need to submit the entry on your behalf.  

By submitting an entry for the competition, you, or your parent or guardian, are considered to have given consent and agreement to the use of the entry as described in these terms and conditions.​

1. Each entrant may submit up to 2 images.

2. All submitted photos must be original, photographed by the entrant and not infringe intellectual property rights.  

3. Entrants must hold the copyright for the submitted images. 

4. The submitted images must not have a watermark or signature.

5. The image must be of Witherley or Atterton or within a mile of either Witherley or Atterton.  We ask you to provide a brief description of the location when uploading the image.

6. Submitted images should not exploit or misrepresent people, places or cultures and should respect privacy.

7. The image must not include identifiable human subjects

8. Images must be uploaded  onto wana.org.uk in JPEG or PNG format

9. By submitting images, all entrants agree to their inclusion in the WANA Calendar and their use on WANA website and social media channels.

10. Images will be credited to the original photographer, who will retain copyright. 

11. Winning entrants will not receive any financial reimbursement from the calendar’s proceeds. 

12. All entries must be received by 17.00 hrs on the 20th September 2025

13. The competition judges’ decision will be final.
