Riverside Rescue

A cherished community garden in Witherley has been restored after vandals attacked in late June 2025. Sue Todd, Jane Warwick and Lynne Laine of the WANA Bees rallied once again to restore the garden's beauty and recreate the peaceful atmosphere of the Riverside area. Donations of soil were kindly received, allowing WANA to fund the new planting.

Pictured below in October 2024, carrying out the Winter Planting, the WANA Bees have shown tremendous resilience in keeping this area, overcoming the devastating floodwaters of early 2025. Thank you from all of us, ladies, for your exceptional effort.
