A statement issued by WPC and delivered to homes on 15 January confirms reference to parks in the flyer delivered last week does not apply to Witherley Playing Field. Witherley Playing Field is owned by Villagers and managed by Trustees on behalf of the Village. It is independent of the Parish Council.
WANA can also report that for some time WPC has recognised that Fenny Drayton equipment is fast approaching end of life and has set aside funds in its annual budget for many years towards the cost of replacement equipment. A fault occurred following a ROSPA inspection in June. This fault and other concerns were reported to the clerk by a former Councillor at the July 2023 Meeting.
